周柳池，美院毕业，作品如其人，格调高雅，铸就非凡，富含江南灵秀隽永，又深得中原书风的豪迈雄奇！骨挺俊逸，风华万千，自成一派！个性自由烂漫，豪迈不拘，素有：“江南柳池”，“豪情万丈”，“风情万种”、“中华俊彩”、“江南俊杰”之誉！作品获国家级书赛及文化部主办的书赛金奖多的人格，植根于传统的修为，并衷于公益，德艺兼修。历任中国书画院名誉顾问，北京民族大学客座教授，首届中国书画艺术“华表奖”特约评委，大型权威文献《共和国不会忘记》特约编委，国礼文化网特邀顾问。
2006年由中国红十字基金会在北京人民大会堂举行“中国书画名家作品公益巡展”作为重点嘉宾，盛邀启动仪式，助力公益，践行大爱。奉信品高，则下笔妍雅，学富，方胸罗万有的学识与超然，心怀万物，寄怀高远。业绩同时被中国文联授予“中国书画艺术百佳”人物，书法作品先后于国家博物馆、北京人民大会堂、钓鱼台国宾馆、越南民族博物馆、韩国碑林学会、台北、日本、香港、巴黎等地参展并收藏。作品载入中国美协，中国书协——《中韩书画名家作品交流展》，《中国书画名家博览》等多部艺术大典，荣获2007“中国艺术年度人物”，2010“中国艺术最具影响力人物”。2013年与饶宗颐、范曾、沈鹏、黄永玉、杨晓阳等大家一起入编《东方艺术之巅·中国艺术六大名家》，巅峰云集，盛名远播。
2022年，正值建军95周年，重温威武之师、文明之师、和平之师的光荣历史，丹青为时代讴歌，翰墨为盛世献礼，大国风范文化新旗帜艺术家周柳池//向建军95周年献礼专题展，弘扬中国传统文化，展现当代书画大家风范。2022年5月，央视媒体特别报道:向人民汇报—“著名艺术家周柳池优秀作品展”，致敬艺术，名家典范，向党和人民汇报。2022年3月，书法小楷作品《般若波罗蜜多心经》以38万元在市场流通，同年，4尺条幅书法作品《天道酬勤》在雅昌国际2022秋季书画拍卖会上，以15万元人民币拍卖成交。其作品一经呈现，焦点聚集，追捧者广，收藏者众!
